Exhibition "The Symphony of Us"

Through collaboration, involvement and the sharing of experiences, a new way of looking at cancer research can emerge. This dynamic inspired the Symphony of Us Village: a place where encounter, exchange and co‑creation are at the heart of the process. A collaboration between patients that makes their experience of the disease visible, tangible and meaningful. 

The Symphony of Us Village is an initiative led by a patient‑researcher involved in the Symphony of Us project, who brought other patients along on this journey to create this tipi village together. 

For two years, Symphony of Us was a space where lived experience and scientific knowledge met, allowing participants to explore together what “value” means for patients in cancer research. Together, they examined how the voice of patients can take a central place in the research world, and how research can better respond to their real needs and expectations.
