Join the Conversation on Patient Value and Health Data Use in Oncology Research
Are you an (ex-) cancer patient or a patient representative, and would you like to share your views on how the use of health data in research can bring value to patients? We would love to hear from you!
What is it about?
We aim to bring together patients and patient representatives to discuss their experiences, views and wishes about how their health data is used in research, in a spirit of openness and collaboration.
Health research has been instrumental in making progress in many disease areas and research relies on patients’ participation and the use and reuse of health data.
At the present moment we are seeing new groundbreaking initiatives (such as the European Health Data Space) promising to make health data more available for research, while ensuring that patients’ privacy and rights remain protected. It is extremely important that the patient voice about such new developments is heard.
